CoolShade Reflectors Air Cooled

Product Description

CoolShade Reflectors Air Cooled is a fully sealed clear glass tube reflector of a unique design. It can heat away before it can raise the grow environment temperature by allowing you to blow or extract air through the reflector and over the lamp. This is an ideal fixture for removing excess heat from HID grow lights and works incredibly well with air extraction systems. Highly effective, these units can take up to 90% of the heat away from your plants whilst sacrificing no lumen delivery.

Functionality

CoolShade Reflectors Air Cooled are simply to use. They are easily attached to your existing fan or a new one to cool the lights. Multiple units can be mounted in a series when using an RVK Extractor Fan. To install the reflector above the canopy the safe distances above plants are:

• 250watt HID lamp: minimum 20cm
• 400watt HID lamp: minimum 50cm
• 600watt HID lamp: minimum 60cm.

Specifications

• 5in version: 125mm width
• 6in version: 150mm width
• 8in version: 200mm width

Recommendations

While this is a high-quality and reliable product, like any reflector, we recommend replacing it after approximately 12 months. The efficacy of a reflector is lessened over time and multiple uses. Greater environmental factors like humidity can deteriorate the reflector surface reducing its ability to powerfully reflect light.
