How To Use Aluminium Ducting

It's best to wear gloves when installing ducting to avoid any potential skin irritation. Make sure the ducting is fitted with as tight an air seal as possible. Try to avoid bending or creating kinks in the duct run as this can lower the amount of air passing through and could cause back-pressure on the fan. Use a lit splint and run it along your extraction line to check for air leaks. You’ll identify any gaps by seeing smoke pass into the duct run.
