Hydrotops were one of the first companies to design products especially for young plants and cuttings. While most growers use nutrient solutions at half-strength at this early stage, the nutrient profile is not correctly balanced and they do not contain the right amounts of trace minerals, all of which stunts growth later on. Hydrotops Head Start has taken this into account and provided a product with both trace and major elements at the correct levels which will help young plants and cuttings establish a strong root system early on and get the maximum harvest.

How to use:

Soak the Rockwool rotting cubes or chosen growing media overnight in a solution of 5ml-10ml/L Hydroptops Bioponic Root Stimulator and 7ml Bioponic Head Start. Adjust the pH level to between 4.5 and 5.5. This is essential for getting the best results. After soaking, drain thoroughly and squeeze out any excess liquid without damaging the structure. After using rooting powder or gel, place the cutting into the cube and leave at a temperature of 25°C and do not let the cubes dry out. Once roots begin to show, up the dosage of both products to 10ml/L. Dip the bottom of the cube in the solution to use.
