HYP Lockdown Pads can attract a range of insects including thrips, leaf miners, aphids, fruit flies, white flies and more. These sticky pads are free of pesticides and an ideal way to monitor insects with the least environmental impact.

What They Are Used For

They are made to have no odour and no noxious chemicals. This means air, soil, rock or water will not be affected. They are long-lasting and water-resistant. This simple-to-use product can stave off knats, spider mites and many more common plant invaders.

How It Works

They are to be used at the base of your plant. This will protect the plant from debris entering the grow medium. In turn, this can reduce mould and algae. HYP Lockdown Pads can be placed flat or used in a cone shape, they are applicable at any stage of growth and are usable both indoors and outdoors.

How to use HYP Lockdown Pads

Basic use: Lay the Lock Down Pad adhesive side up or down in your pot. Peel off the release film.

Cone shape: Place the Lock Down Pad with the adhesive side facing either towards the base of your plant or away from the base of your plant and gently remove the release paper to form a cone. Overlap the slit of the Lock Down Pad to form the desired cone shape and size. If there is a bug infestation in your root system and you place it cone down with the adhesive facing inside, this will allow for monitoring of the insects emerging from your root system.
