What It Is Used For

The product works on the stomach of insects and causes thrips to become sterile within a few hours of application. This costs them the ability to carry on egg-laying and growing the population. Velgro will not leave any odour or flavour on the plants.

How It Works

A.R.T.S Velgro 250ml consists of Ryania and potassium salt. Velgro is at its most effective against both the larvae and eggs of thrips at the earliest stage. This is because it is able to affect the thrips digestively. Once consumed, Velgro will leave the thrips sterile and unable to lay eggs. The odour and flavour are highly unattractive to thrips which can cause them to avoid the plant altogether.

How To Use A.R.T.S Velgro 250ml

Use at the first sight of a thrip infestation or as a preventative.

Dosage Recommendations

• Curative: 50ml/L of water. Repeat after 3 days and then again after 10 days to break the cycle. 
• Preventative: 25ml/L of water. Repeat every 2 weeks.

Ensure even coverage over both sides of the leaves and stems for optimal results.
