How It Works

The system holds the ability to remove run-off at a high pace. This has numerous beneficial effects on the growth, it stimulates nutrient uptake and develops the root zone, and it lessens the chances of root rot and any potential Pythium. Run-off is collected in the AutoDrain control unit. Once this reaches the Control Unit’s lower float all solution is pumped to waste.

How To Use And Assemble IWS AutoDrain Standard Large Stand 20 Pot System

The system is designed for use on flat surfaces. This will ensure that all drainage is effective. Lay out stands in their desired placement. Provide enough space to cover plant growth. Remove a washer and the locknut from the gland, then push the thread through from the outside of the stand. Replace both the locknut and washer from the inside of the stand. Use a spanner to make it watertight. Loosen the gland nut before inserting the fitting then tighten the nut. An even number of lanes for the Control Unit. Cut pipework to necessary lengths and connect stands before ensuring each line is connected to the control unit. Make sure the piping is level and straight, heating ends beforehand can make this easier. Run pipe from the control unit to the waste. Place puts into stands, plug the control unit into the mains and you are ready to go.
