How To Use Gavita 1700E Pro 645w LED Grow Light

The Gavita 1700E Pro 645w LED Grow Light is a 645W unit designed to cover an area of 1.2m x 1.2m. The 8 LED bar design offers a uniform optimum light spread. This is compatible with both EL1 and EL2 Gavita Master Controllers. This can be dimmed by up to 50% without affecting the lighting quality.

Hanging Heights

For established plants, it is best to use a hanging height of 30-50cm above the canopy. For sensitive and younger plants, increase the distance and lower the power settings. Such plants should be monitored over the days ahead and the height and power of the light can be adjusted accordingly. For plants in the flowering period, consider starting at 400W-600W of power and increasing to 100% soon after. If propagating, start on 250W with the LED 80-100cm above the canopy.
