This cordless nailer from Einhell is a versatile device from their Power X-Change line. It offers handheld nail gunning for home and workspace renovation. It can precisely deliver impact depth for each nailing and is power by a robust gearbox delivering up to 60 impacts per minute.  This prime renovation tool offers a shot controller and can hold up to 100 nails. Its 18v batteries and charger are sold separately.

What It Is Used For

The FIXETTO 18/50 N is used for renovation tasks demanding nail fixtures. It can be used with 1.0mm thick nails between 15-50mm long. It is designed to be slim with an ergonomic soft grip and comes with LED lighting on either side and belt clip for ease of handling.

How To Use

Each time before starting to work, use the filling level indicator to check if the magazine contains any nails and that the magazine cover is properly closed.

Important

Determine the required and optimum depth of penetration of the nails by first using a test work piece which is similar in structure and material thickness to the work pieces you want to join.

Triggering shots

The built-in trigger catch prevents the cordless nailer from being triggered accidentally. As the result a shot can be triggered only when you press the trigger catch of the cordless nailer against the material and actuate the trigger.

Single shot

Set the selector switch for single shot / repeat shot to single shot. Place the cordless nailer with its trigger catch against the workpiece ready for nailing. Pull the trigger once and let it go again after each shot.

Repeat shot

Set the selector switch for single shot / repeat shot to repeat shot. Pull and hold the trigger. When you place the cordless nailer with its trigger catch against the workpiece it will now shoot repeatedly until you release the trigger.

Important!

To prevent the cordless nailer from overheating, you must take a break of 20 minutes after approx. 500 shots in repeat mode. If the nail goes in too far or if it does not go in far enough you can adjust the depth of penetration with the depth adjuster.

Jammed nails

If a nail becomes jammed in the tool, proceed as follows:

• Remove the battery from the tool.
• Open the magazine cover.
• Open the lever and the cover plate.
• Remove the jammed nail.
• Close the cover plate and the magazine cover again.

Adjusting the depth

The tool has a depth adjuster (Fig. 8 / Item 9) in the form of a rotary knob. If you screw it in the direction (+), the nails will be shot in deeper. If you want to reduce the depth that the nails are shot in, you have to screw the rotary knob in the direction (-).
