This capillary matting is specifically designed to be used with the AutoPot Tray2Grow system. This should always be used with an AutoPot Tray2Grow Root Control sheet on top.
How To Use AutoPot Tray2Grow Root Control Sheet
Before use, the control sheet requires soaking before laying it on top of the capillary matting. It needs to lie with the copper face up. Once set, the control sheet will prevent roots from penetrating the capillary matting and interfering with the AQUAvalve.
