Calibrating your pH meter is crucial to avoid accidentally feeding an overly alkaline or acidic nutrient solution to your plants which could result in deficiencies and irreversible damage. By calibrating with Essentials Lab Buffer 4 and 7, you will get accurate and consistent readings each time.

How to use: 

If you are using your pH meter daily, you should calibrate it at least once a week.

Ensure that your pH meter and the Buffer 4 solution are at similar temperatures, by keeping them in the same place for a while. Shake the bottle before use.

Pour a small amount into another container to test pH, and follow the calibration instructions provided with your pH Meter. 

To avoid contamination and loss of accuracy, never place the probe directly into the bottle and always use a separate container for testing and discard after use. Avoid pouring it back into the bottle.
