The IWS Flood + Drain Trident is the latest automated system from IWS. The system setup simplifies IWS with its use of push fittings, rubber grommets and built-in stands. Thanks to its lack of additional components, this is the most user-friendly and easy to setup system from IWS yet. Its use of inner fabric pots means it is suitable for a variety of growing media.

How IWS Trident Flood + Drain 25L - 18 Pot Works

The user sets times and durations with the IWS minute timer and nutrient is pumped from the FlexiTank to the Control Unit accordingly. The provided pipework connects the Control Unit directly to the Trident Pots. Once the Control Unit is filled up nutrient is gravity fed to the pots. IWS Flood + Drain Trident fills from the bottom of the pot allowing for a full saturation of the root zone.

How To Use And Assemble IWS Trident Flood + Drain 25L - 18 Pot

Cut the pipework to your desired lengths and connect pots in six lines with each connecting to the control unit and the pots. For assembly, squash the grommet and insert it into the bottom of the trident pot. Apply some lubricant to the fitting and push the fitting on the grommet. For a six-pot setup, only elbows with the starter kit are required. More than 6 pots will need tees to create continuous lines.
