Rootit Rooting Sponges x24 Tray + Base are for use in the propagation period to develop strong cuttings for larger yields. The plugs act like sponges holding usable amounts of water without becoming waterlogged. They have an ideal air-to-water ratio that can make healthy strong roots.
Cuttings need to be placed into the rooting plugs. Once done, place the lid on the propagator and put in an area with medium to low light levels and a mild environment for several days. Keep the plugs moist and misted 2-3 times daily. Let the light levels increase and open the ventilation slots on the propagator after a few days. Once the cuttings have rooted they can be placed in the hydroponic growing medium. Rootit Rooting Sponges x24 Tray + Base can also be used for seed germination. Drop the seed into the hole of a moist plug.
