The Rootit Heat Mat Thermostat is a device specifically designed for use with Rootit Heat Mats for propagation. This is an optional but highly useful accessory for propagation with Rootit products.
Rootit Heat Mat Thermostat is able to maintain your ideal rooting temperature to assure a fast striking of cuttings and germinating of seeds. This will allow you greater control over your grow environment. It does this by consistent monitoring of the temperature and turning the heat mat on and off when required to stick to the desired temperature range.
Rootit Heat Mat Themostat is easily plugged into your heat mats. Its face has a simple, readable screen and underneath are three face buttons. One to set and two for adjusting settings up and down. This enables easy monitoring and adjusting when necessary.
Rootit Heat Mat Thermostat can be used with any heat mats, however is best used with the Rootit range of heat mats. To operate plug in your heat mat to the female UK socket on the bottom of the thermostat, set the desired temperature and power on. This product comes with a 2-meter power cable with a UK plug, a 1.8m temperature probe cable and a fixture for the unit to be hung or attached to walls, etc.
To set the temperature with this device, hold the ‘set’ button for 3 seconds and use the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons to choose your desired level. If you wish to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press and hold one of the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons. Holding ‘up’ will switch to Celsius and holding ‘down’ will switch to Fahrenheit – an LED will light up on-screen to distinguish between the two.
The power LED will light up whenever the heat-mat is in use. This LED will switch off once temperatures recorded by the probe have reached a level matching your chosen setting, indicating that power to the heat-mat has been turned off by the thermostat.
