Bespoke MDF Acoustic Box Fan Description

Box fans are extremely popular after decades of application in the hydroponics industry. They are particularly suited to large-scale operations.

These MDF Acoustic Box Fans are solid and dependable and get the job done. The housing is made of precision-cut, moisture-resistant MDF which is ideal for the humidity of grow rooms. Moreover, MDF promises to last longer than other types of wood, so you know this fan can last. Specifications can be 'made to order' at the client's request for optimum performance. The most popular made-to-order specifications are also listed.

How Bespoke MDF Acoustic Box Fan Works

MDF Acoustic Box Fans are used to extract the room from the grow room and move air into the grow room. This provides an ample supply of CO2 around your grow, essential for photosynthesis. When the CO2 is depleted, the air in the room needs replenishing. If it is left unattended, mould and rot can ensue due to rising moisture and humidity. The MDF Acoustic Box fan can tend to this with aplomb. They are capable of a powerful amount of air extraction whilst remaining considerably quiet in the process.

How to use Bespoke MDF Acoustic Box Fan

It is ideal to connect a carbon filter to the inlet spigot. This will mean the air will be treated for odours before leaving the grow space.

Ducting is then required to connect the filter to the fan using duct clips. Ducting is also required to connect the outlet spigot of the fan and run to an outside point.

The system should ideally be placed at the top of the grow area to tend to hot air and the ducting must lead to an outside point. Avoid sharp bends in the ducting and try to keep it is as short as possible to be as effective as possible.
